II. Linking Touhou 10.5 to Touhou 12.3 for Complete Characters
☯ Find configex123.ini inside hisoutensoku folder (where you can see "th123" and "th123e")
Open configex123.ini, and look for the following words:
[th105path]
path=
set path= to where your scarlet weather rhapsody/touhou 10.5 folder is found.
One example would be,
[th105path]
path=C:Scarlet Weather Rhapsody

☯ Show saved IP
☯ Show IP History
☯ connect to IP currently copied (as in, you can ctrl+c an adress of the xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx: xxxx format, for example 12.34.567.891:10800, and then select this option to join the host who has this ip.)

☯☯ Players usually find their ip on sites such as whatismyip.org, then host a match, send the other player their ip and port (usually 10800), and the other player can copy this and connect to them via the 5th option. Or you can pick the second and manually type it in.

☯ Set up your router/firewall to allow connections. Use PortForward The typical port used for SWR is 10800
☯ Get your IP. Go to WhatIsMyIP?. WhatIsMyIP? also has a handy tool you can put on your Google frontpage.
☯ Give someone your IP, typically in x.x.x.x: port format (1.1.1.1:10800 for example). This is to allow the SWR copy/paste connect option (The 5th choice in Vs Network) to work.
